Join us for the Firecracker 5K on Friday, July 4th, starting at 8:00 am sharp!
Race Details: Embark on this timed race through Historic Park St. and across the iconic Johnson St. Bridge, all while surrounded by a picturesque display of American flags.
Registration Information: Late registrants may miss out on event shirts as we finalize orders in advance. Race day registration (MAY NOT include an event shirt) opens at 7:00 am and closes at 7:45 am, ensuring a smooth start to the race. For convenience, we encourage online registration or in-person registration at the Parks & Rec Office (located at 2703 Traders Rd.) prior to race day.
Awards and Categories: Finisher medals await all participants that cross the finish line. Age categories include: 10 & under, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-59, and 60+.
Race Logistics: The race will kick off and culminate at the front of Kavanaugh Church on Park St., just before Johnson St.
The race will begin promptly 8:00 am.
Normal registration ($35) opens on June 7th and closes on Sunday, June 29th, 9:00 PM. Secure your spot and let's make this Independence Day memorable with a run to remember!
